Concrete form for the chicken run, and a new fence start the Chicken coop project
...
Close up of the concrete forms shows some lag bolts stuck into the concrete.
It was thought that these could be used to anchor the cage to the concrete,
but it wasn't properly planned and they ended up being of no use.
...
After the concrete form dried, the base of the coop was started,
and the chicken run gets started from the other side
...
Another view of the run being framed out.
...
Coop taking shape, with the back completed.
There are two windowed doors, and at the base of the coop is the frame
that will be used for the litter trays.
....
Roof rafters framed out, and the nesting boxes have been built.
...
Close up of the nesting boxes. each one has two vents over top of it.
